The last time we woke up to our cat screaming at us at the top of her lungs, we were led to her bed and discovered she had given birth to a beautiful kitten (true story). Ever since, we have vowed to never ignore her when she demands our attention so badly, even if it is for something as mundane as filling up her food bowl.
